Our programs
Six integrated programs that work together to create sustainable livelihoods for single mothers and their communities.
Poultry enterprise
End‑to‑end training, biosecure inputs, and improved kuroiler chicks. Each mother receives 25 chicks, feed, vaccinations, and ongoing mentorship.
Learn about our model →Women empowerment
Leadership training, financial literacy, and business launchpad. Women lead the cooperatives and hold elected positions.
Meet our leaders →Child education
Poultry profits directly fund school fees, uniforms, and supplies. 94% of children in our program attend primary school regularly.
See education impact →Nutrition access
Affordable eggs fight malnutrition. Each cooperative sets aside eggs for vulnerable children and pregnant mothers in the village.
Support nutrition →Quality feeds
Nutrient-dense, locally sourced feed formulated for high yield. We train women to mix their own feed using local ingredients.
Partner on feeds →Market access
Linking women to fair markets & premium buyers (hotels, schools, exporters). Collective bargaining ensures better prices.
Become a buyer →How programs work together
A woman doesn't just receive chicks — she joins a savings cooperative, learns business skills, accesses quality feed at group rates, and sells through collective market channels. Her children's education is monitored, and her family's nutrition improves.
This integrated model creates resilience: if one element faces challenge, the others provide support.
“I joined for the chickens, but I gained sisters, a savings account, and my daughter is now in secondary school.”
— Nakato Prossy, Kayunga cooperative
